Rosie McIntyre is an advocate and mother. Ms. McIntyre was instrumental in fighting for her son, Lamont McIntyre, who was released in October 2017, after 23 years of wrongful incarceration. She became an activist when her son was arrested at age 17 and she worked to bring local and national attention to her son’s case and unjust imprisonment. Ms. McIntyre has previously worked as a certified nursing assistant and a restaurateur. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Ms. McIntyre attended Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas and is excited to enjoy time with her son and family.
